I used to think he was amazing, easy going, intelligent and kind. But he got involved in some petty argument (can't remember what about) which I tried to ignore, but now he's liking the attention from Dan TOO much! I don't know if anything happened between the two of them yet, so forgive if I'm talking nonsense!

It's just Xanthi said from the start that Dan wasn't his type, and he continued to say on the hutcam diary-thing that it was obvious Dan liked him but he didn't like him back. And he's just leading him on and wanting Dan to keep giving him the attention even although he isn't interested.

Like that time when Danny was the leader and he made Dan and Xanthi do something together. Xanthi asked Dan why he thought they were put together! I mean total "tell me you fancy me and Danny knew it". Dan said that maybe it was because they were both creative (obvious lie!) and Xanthi ended up just saying he was playing matchmaker, but said it was stupid or something because they would NEVER get together, "obviously".

I dunno, i just got annoyed at him for saying that, which is a shame because I used to think he was cool (and hot!)

They are a couple now. There was an article in attitude about them. (see Dan Evered thread). I think Xanthi is now living in London with Dan.
Dan may come on and give us more details, about his/Xanthi's domestic situation. I have also heard Silkie is also living at Dan's place.  I would guess in the capacity as flatmate only.

He isnt leading him on, like Alex and Fran said they are now a proper couple. A mans entitled to change his mind Wink  Smiley

even enemies fall in love lol ... you simply dont have to fall in love with someone at the first sight ... some people take time to come in term with thier feelings ..

tbh, and I mean this in the nicest possible way, Dan is a 24 year old man, not a naive wee boy. I dont think you need to worry too much about Xanthi leading him on, I think he can handle it.

and Im not sure it is even possible to enjoy Dan's attention too much Tongue  Grin

So what if Xanthi said he thought Dan wasn't his type at the begining, the man is entitled to change his mind!!! Falling in love isn't always an instant thing, friendship can grow into attraction/love over time and thats what seems to have happended between Xanthi and Dan. If you read the Attitude article Xanthi said they grew closer through chats in the night, and he fell for Dan gradually. I don't think Xanthi was leading Dan on, and tbh, Dan is a grown man, not a little boy, i'm sure he could handle it. And who doesn't enjoy a little bit of attention every now and then?? Tongue

All that matters is that they're together now, and obviously very happy, so does it really matter what was said or done in the past?

^^^^ I agree with everyone, a guy's allowed to change his mind ya know. Grin  You shouldn't be so harsh about Xanthi, he was only speaking his mind and at that momen in time it was the truth. Dan wasn't his type. However, things like that aren't set in stone, there are plenty of people myself included that have fallen for/been attractive to people that "weren't my type" It happens. Personally I think it goes to show just how strongly he felt for Dan.

As they say, opposites attract! We all knew it was only a matter of time anyway lol  Wink
