That's assuming they want more fame, they may well not do. Some of them might have just wanted the shipwrecked experience and that's it.

Is that why mark xanthia holli liam mack and dan have posted on here? To  keep us aware of them and promote themselves for future careers?

No I doubt it in the named specific cases, they're genuinely just interested in fully interacting with the experience and you guys here - perhaps some of the 'promo girls' have done this to get into Nuts, Zoo etc etc.

I don't personally believe for a second that anyone would go onto a reality TV show unless they wanted attention, publicity or limelight of some sort, travelling the world is an experience, some run marathons, eitherway its very easy to challenge yourself personally - I raised £800 for Cancer Research doing a solo freefall jump from 15,000ft!

But don't get me wrong, I was a twat with Kevin and Bene, I hold my hands up to that one, that's why I took them to one side and apologised, I also apologised off camera but of course production don't like it when you say or do something when they're not there.

The treatment of those guys did seem pretty harsh however, I think a new arrival is naive if they think they're gonna get the red carpet treatment. Surely they will understand that the other islanders have been there a lot longer and have gone through different emotions along the way and may not all be in the best mindframe at that time.

At least you had the guts to admit fault and apologise. Nadejah seems to act like a t*** towards everyone and never shoulders any responsibility.

Liam is one of my least favourite shipwreckers this year - I think he is 100% fake and is totally ridiculous in some of his actions. Looks like he is just using production as a scape goat for his behaviour. Who the hell does he think he is to speak to Kevin and Bene that way?? And as for apologising, if production are so involved, how do we know they didnt make him do it? HIm and Sonny are the main reasons I like Sharks - oh, and Danny now. He is the worst. When Jack was a new arriving and the sharks were taking the piss out of him for being all over Jack -that was genuine so I think what we see on camera, is how people felt on the island.

You really need to get a grip, Liam is once of this years BEST shipwreckers, Liam was trying to clear up how it works with production, Seriously Sonny Liam and Danny are some of the best shipwreckers this year i realy cant understand how you can dislike them so much when you support a tribe that has Bene,Kevin & Nadejah on there.

Danny?? Someone who comes onto an island, steals Greg and has a go at him for missing and calling out to his tribe? Danny had only been there 5 minutes so how would he know how it felt - he is the pathetic one. Liam is just bland - one of the most disrespectful things anybody has done to me is not come to my island? Are you kiddin me - he needs to get a grip. He is just making excuses by using production, and then he gets all the tigers to huddle round him and feed his ego. He would never have felt like that if he was in a happy tribe. And it's funny how liam only comments on this site to defend and try to justify his actions when he has been an idiot.

I cant speak for SharksNo1 but I like Nadejah, she has P***** me off, but she is entertaing and she makes me laugh. I dont expect anyone to be perfect, and Nadejah certainly isnt, but she is who she is and I enjoy watching her, she seems like a class girl.

Kevin is very endearing to me he seems a little eccentric. His actions in his first week were immature, niave and silly, but he didnt i dont think intend any malice toward Tigers.
Bene not seen much of her since her first week so I cant say I have a particularly strong feeling one way or the other, but didnt warm to her at all as a new arrival, till she went to Tigers, and I saw a softer side.

Sonny I just cant take to him, very immature but unlike Kevin, to me, it isnt in an endearing way.

Danny I liked him his first week, but his in your face competivness was real turn off for me in this weeks episode, but you cant really form a good opinion of someone after only 2 episodes, so I am keeping an open mind as far as Danny is concerned.

Liam seems like a very nice guy, who is always polite when he post's on here, but on the show sorry I just dont find him very entertaing to watch he is a bit wet (or comes across that way). I feel mean saying that because I do like him but I cant pretend that I he is favourite of mine on the show.

Of course we are, and so are you. There is no right or wrong here. Some people you just take to some you dont. It happens in real life and it happens on Shipwrecked. Same goes for which island you want to win.

I just wish half the stuff we got upto made it into the show, we always tried to get things into the back of shot for people at home, me cleaning glasses in Tigers Tavern, Sonny stumbles in, I punch him then throw him out the bar etc.

I'm just gonna keep my eyes peeled for things!

god it bugs me loads that they have to make so many contrived storylines and 'fake fun' when it would be much more entertaining just showing ppl larking about like fools...

in my broken state have had lots of time on my hands and watched SW 2006 on youtube and the best bits were just random when they were messing about and they never seem to show stuff like that this yr. only the more forced stuff.

What is the "fake fun" you have spotted?
I dont think Shark island in particular comes across as having to "fake" their fun. If the islanders have the imagination, spirit and lack of inhabitions (which most on Shark island seem to do, Tigers im not so sure but Liam will know better than me) then there is no need to fake anything. The Sharks this year always look like they are having "real" fun, more so than some of the islanders in previous years.

Yeah i understand with the whooping but i think in generall tyhis year both islands have had there fair share of fun it all depends this year what you want out of your experience.

Theres no denying the sharks are the party animals where as the tiger are more laied back and chilled i personally prefer laied back and chilling its not to every ones taste though

According to Xanthi on one of the other threads, that wasnt a big deal at all, they were only told to look lively when comming of the boat after winning a new arrival at the begging and that as it went on it just became 2nd nature to do it. How do we know if on the earlier series they were told to do this or not.
