I know some of the Sharks said they'd miss Mackenzie whilst he was sidelined, I'm just not sure how much difference his absence would have made to the camp.
Sure, he was probably only away for a few days - but because there are so many members of each tribe now (with the whole 2 new arrivals thing) it seems individual personalities/impacts are suppressed by the sheer numbers.
If there were say, half the number of tribe members (or less than 10 maybe) it would have been more interesting to see how things would have changed, more noticeable - and probably would have made for better viewing too!!

Islanders were missed. Xanthi was missed, so was Rosie and Greg as well.
Tribe members travelled out to see Rosie and Greg went to see his Tribe.
Probably everyone on Sharks missed Mackenzie apart from Nadeja.
They must have been quite worried as to wether Mackenzie was coming back.
Mackenzie is very popular with the viewers too.

due to the nature of Mackenzie's absence we were updated regularly on his condition and if he would return and what the conditions of his return would be.
On the other had we were all very jealous that he was getting to eat real food :p

I'm sure MacKenzie's absence had an affect on the tribe. He's always been seen as a natural leader of Sharks so i'm sure they must have been a bit worried as to whether he wa comming back or not. The tribe misses any member of their group, they missed Greg loads, he swam across to see them, they sent a message to Adam on a leaf and the went to get Rosie as well.
