2 brilliant episodes on the trot Grin

I found the Tiger/Danny love in nauseating, Liam comes across as bit of a brown noser. He had only know Danny 2 minutes and he was declaring him one of the most selfless people he has ever met???   Roll Eyes I'm sure he is a lovely guy, but he comes across as pretty false to me on the show.

My Shark allegiance is stronger than ever, they came across really well today, especially Greg, but he is a Tiger now  Sad poor Maz, I didn't expect that after Danny saying he didn't want to be responsible for breaking up a couple Huh

Is anyone else getting tired of the chanting songs each island tribe uses when they have some kind of confrontation? It just seems so forced, like the producers already have the songs written for them and tell them to sing them. I cringe when they start singing.

Im a big tiger fan but agree with you about Liam, it may just be the way the show is edited but he always comes across as trying to be really sincere but to me his manner is totally lacking in sincerity.

Having said that, I dio love the tigers and think Danny is fantastic.  What a really nice, genuine guy.

Im not sold on Danny at all. I will wait and see what happens next week though before I make up my mind...

I personally found this episode cringeworthy, particularly when they went for the 'rescue' with the corny music playing in the background.

I think the producers have forgotten that this is a reality TV series, NOT a drama or a pre-written story.

Very sad...we're over halfway through the series and I just couldn't tell you anything distinct about whats happened, there's just nothing memorable so far?

Danny just seems like the kind of guy you could have a laugh with or have a deep chat. And he comes across as quite likeable. Liam was right when he said he was the missing piece of the tigers. But, you're right, its only one episode so we'll see!

Ash, reality tv doesn't neccessarily mean reality. The producers show what they want and can change the rules. Most reality tv is a drama.  The script isn't written but the producers can push the storyline down diferent avenues if they want.

I found Danny really likable in this episode - not sure how he got from not wanting to split a couple up to choosing Greg though.

Im also thinking I may go off him in the next episode with him ranting about Greg but will wait and see.

Overall im more Shark than ever.  I find them totally likable, really sincere, not tactical and just really fun.  There are a few individuals on tigers that im going off more and more each week!

I know Greg cant nominate but they didnt say he cant be stolen back so with any luck the Sharks will win the next new arrival, steal Greg back and hopefully get Jack the week after!

pushing storylines one way or another & introducing twists is one thing but that was virtually scripted!  It totally came across as the producers idea & all set up by them, yet they attempted to make it look like a spontaneous rule break.

Just thought the whole thing was ridiculous personally!! Go watch Shipwrecked from 2/3 years ago and it was all much more serious, watchable, I remember recording about 4 episodes and watching them all one after the other as I was hooked...I just don't that this year, I'm not craving the show as I used to!

You see, Amy's spoilers weren't so ridiculous afterall.   Grin

To be fair Ash if that was overly scripted then I would sack the writters.
The whole thing was a bit underwheling. I cant help but think that if the producers had interfred as much as you seem to think they did, it would have been a bit more exciting to watch.
I think whoever edited it, got that The Sharks reaction to loosing a tribe member was a bit weak (I mean a rescue party of 3 including Doug and Andrew in a pair of speedos) and the music and stuff was a bit of a dig they were having a bit of fun with it...

Personally I thought the rescue party of 3 was about right.  Only I'd have had the rest of the tribe sneaking round the back, unnoticed thanks to the 3 decoys.  Grab Rosie and all the luxuries / food etc.

They could have sent more threatening and formidable people than Lois, Doug and Andrew. Why not send Xanthi and Mackenzie? Or Nadejah on her own, that would have been more scary.
