Shipwrecked Adam Ryan Intro Age: 22 - Occupation: Bar Manager About Adam: When it comes to roughing it, Adam has nothing to fear about coming to live on a desert island... he's used to living a commune-type lifestyle in the UK, where he travels around as a charity fundraiser. But while the lifestyle comes naturally, the discipline of Shipwrecked might not. He says his friends would describe him as 'a liability' and that he has little regards for consequences. I thought Adam was quite sweet. Yes he had the attention span of a goldfish, but he was a breath of fresh air. I preffered him to Danny actually. I think he fits in perfectly with the Sahrks as he seems to share their sense of fun. I loved his Island Law, it was never going to be a serious law, so instead he got the whole tribe dancing aroung practically naked and having abrilliant time  |

what i didn't get with him was when he described what his job entailed, he said he was one of those annoying people you see in the street that stop you to talk to you about his charity. he called himself a charity fundraiser.
however i worked in sales (briefly!) and we had people who did that exact same thing within our company.
So does 'sales person' not fit in with his hippie image or am i just wrong in what I'm on about.
If i am i apologise now.

No Suz you're right. At least in regards to my job. I work in retail and we often get sales assistants to stand outside and talk to customers, give out leaflets etc so I get where you're coming from. However, I think "charity fundraiser" is the proper term for it. They are also sometimes known as "chuggers" aka "charity muggers" as they can sometimes be quite rude and forcefl in my part of the country lol
During the clips at the beginning of the episodes we can see Adam with a Tiger necklace on. Do we think he nominates or is stolen/rejected?

yeh there was in the intro they were using up until a few weeks ago a few clips that show adam with a tiger necklace on. i wouldnt have thought he would nominate, i only say this coz i think theres gona be a few changes in the next few weeks so i reckon he's one of them that get stolen or rejected.

Yeah i thought i'd seen that myself in the opening credits where he's sat with the tigers sitting next to Silkie and it's defo a tiger necklace ,mind you with all this swapping around and these stupid new twists anythings possible

I'm starting to worry tho, cuz when the camera pans out and you see the tribes chanting in their seating area from a side view... You can't see Dan  I will be gutted if he gets stolen/booted off Sharks! Plus, it kinda looks like the Tigers have the biggest crew, which makes me wonder about the winner.. |

I dont look at the start because I've noticed it shows the full tribes and I dont want to know who goes where, I don't get why they have done that, it spoils it, I've seen some people I dont recongnise so it's clear to see where they go or end up. That seems really pointless to me.

well it looked like Adam had not choice to go to Tigers and I wonder how Tigers are going to feel about Hollie who only seemed to want to come back to them because he was stolen. The girls will be upset that she did not value their friendship enough and was only interested in spending time with Adam. I would be hurt if I was them.
