Amazing! Ha! The first week was a very interesting one for all cast always. Adapting to the climate, the people around you and also the fact that you are being filmed constantly. Tactically I would not of got rid of Hollie myself as I appreciated her mucking in and doing as much as possible. At this early stage, the whole team needs to pitch in to get things done and she was great at that. Xanthi did make a decision with her best interests at heart and with the potential of her coming back and maybe bringing Hermione with her..!? We managed to build a small shelter, which is excellent in terms of keeping us dry, which was our number one priority. The weather during the first week was not great with daily showers. The Tigers went for something a lot more ambitious to start of with but this meant that had many wet night and that’s why they where very excited when they got the idea of using ponchos of us. Xanthi and I also discussed not doing to much work until the weather had cleared up and until new arrivals had come allowing them to get involved as much as the originals. We figured it’s a big bonding process building things like the shelter so its good to wait for a big group for us too do it. At this stage it was more a case of eyeing up opposition and working out how t make a utopia or perfect island so there was lots of sub tactics and canvassing going on.

When we saw you all discussing who should be "sacrificed" I felt sure that it would have to be Rosie or Soodi, as I felt that everyone else had too much to offer to be allowed to leave! my first impressions of the sharks were good.. and they were deff. my favourites throughout the first episode.. but Hollie was one of my favourites of the sharks... and Nadejah was most definately my least favourite of the tigers... so i may feel very differently next episode!!

I found it a little strange that Hollie was chosen as she was the one apparently who could "cope the best" with the change. I thought it was obvious she didnt want to and would actually contribute a lot to the setting up of the Island (Along with Mac)! I have to say though I like the idea of her maybe going back with Hermionie. She is one of the first female contestants I have actually liked straight away. Overal though my first impressions mean I am sticking with being a Shark Fan for yet another year! Never yet gone over to the dark side  |

I thought in terms of who would cope best Mackenzie would have fared the best in terms of strength of mind but I thought the group would have suffered more from his loss than Hollies.
Overall, I prefered the Sharks to the Tigers but its only been 1 episode.

It's funny that they portrayed me being happier on Sharks in the last few days, I had actually had an off camera conversation about nominating the day before with Xanthe and that's why he sent me over!

You seem happier on the tigers hollie  I hope you stay there. I prefer you there this week I didnt really like you as a shark if am honest.. Hm i dunno why just came across as you had to get everything done and like on tigers i thought you were just having more fun |

Definitely prefer the Sharks Xanthi, Mark, Maz and Mackenzie are my favourite 4 on either island so im 100% Shark now |

100% Sharks! The only person I like on Tigers is Hermione and perhaps Hollie where as Sharks have got Xanthe, Mac and Maz all who I love.. love the Shark ethos as well!
