The reason why Greg doesn't come on here to defend himself is because I am sure he doesn't feel the need to polish his ego like a few of the other contestants do - coming on all the time to find out how much people love them etc etc.
To clear a few things up, Greg was messing around with Tigers AND some sharks in the sea at the end. The other jealous sharks were probably standing off camera being over dramatic about how bitter they were. The fact that now, so long after it actually finished filming they are still so bitter is a bit embarrassing really. Why are you being so petty? Why should he have sat you all down and thanked you? Yes you worked as a team and Greg stayed loyal to that team throughout, the tigers said themselves that when new arrivals came, they always said that Greg had made an impact on them. But, the producers were always going to engineer it so it was tied at the end anyway and the last new arrival would really choose the winner as it was unlikely that anyone exiled or stolen would not return to their own isalnd.
It's just a shame that people are getting the wrong impression of greg because of what a few ungracious losers are saying. It is crude to have such an inquest into the money situation, what he does with it is his business, he owes none of it to anyone else, particularly those who are so fickle that as soon as money comes into the equation, they are consumed with a case of the green eyed monster and show their tru colours. I'm glad he hasn't given you a penny of it.

Why would he want to talk to anyone that has blatantly blamed him for something that was out of his control? Ha ha 6 months down the line and you're still this worked up!!! your shipwrecked bubble has burst now mate, back to life as just one of us mere mortals!

You're right on one thing though, maybe he should of put some money behind a bar at a shipwrecked event. Oh hang on a  minute....

Oh and Sirius Rose, I think Neil is defending Greg because that's what people who are looyal to their mates do, they don't let other people bad mouth them.

I think all through the show Greg thanked them for the experience, the friends he's made, the good times they'd had etc etc. he made it clear THROUGHOUT that that was what he was really grateful for, the money was a  bonus, albeit a welcome bonus i'm sure. He had thanked people for the really important things to him - the non-material things. Others have just shown their true colours by going off in little tantrums because he might not have sat them all down and explicitly thanked them for the money - that was not the main gain for him, the experience was which he was thankful for without doubt. Although obviously for others the main aim was to win the money, fair play, each to their own, so why pull Greg down now? In fact I'm certain that if Greg had of sat them all down and thanked them for the money he'd be cocky, or rubbing their faces in it. There are some people in this world that will pick fault with whatever you do.

And Hollylolly, Sirius Rose, lay off criticising him, you are judging him on the words of a few bitter sharks. You have seen that Greg is a great guy, and to describe him as selfish is unfair. He was grateful to the sharks and they knew that, they're just picking faults, well the same few are anyway.

Greg seemed a little apologetic on Andrew's tape.

sirius i'm his best mate and he aint given me any money!! No i wouldnt have reacted th same, because everyone on the sharks had an equal chance of winnin the dollar. Greg didnt ask for the twist, the only thing he's guilty of is bein the most popular guy on the show.
And leedsx i think by comin on here and talking about the way greg has dealt with the money is extremely disrespectful, what gives you the right to talk about what he's done with his money in public? if the shoe was on the other foot greg would not be on here, talkin bout what you did and didnt do.

they all had an equal shot at the start. The little man won it. and now he's sittin pretty on 70,000 pounds. He's started setting fire to fivers and throwing 50 notes at tramps.
