Now since im at work and its Monday, Im fully of crazy ideas and thoughts these in the main are generally rubbish but here goes  .

If the shows recommisoned i propose the following. The show goes back to 5 months and 1 new arrival, But the biggest thing i'd change is NO ISLAND SWAPPING. Jesus it just annoys the cr*p out of me.

For example:

Greg i picked tigers but i wish i hadnt because now i think i prefer sharks but im probably going to move back to tigers in a few weeks.

No island swapping means the following. 1.You make a choice and you stick to it, this means islands have to addapt to there new arrival as they know hes with them for the entire series it increases tribal loyalties & communities and overall i think it would make it more competetive.

I understand people wont agree with this but i think it would be a good twist.

Yeah i understand that ash but i suppose my concept would be easier with one new arrival island swapping just annoys me in general, you would'nt leave your wife if you had a squabble and generally this is what island swapping has become a little tiff and thats it im moving to sharks/tigers.

Alternativly they should atleast have some genuine reason as to why they want to move whats those could be though i dont know.

I would have loved the show to be 5 months long but imagine how much footage they would have for a 49 minute episode with 7 days of filming. The reason they reduced it was because they ended up having crew there and they wouldn't film for 2 or 3 days at a time, it's a massive waste of time and money. There's enough footage that isn't shown in an episode with 4 days per week.x

But personally I'd rather see how the new arrivals agree on an island than the podrace thing in the sea and other minor events.

Its just a shame, an hour a week isn't enough!

True true, and the ridiculous reminding of 'what happened last week...' and 'whats coming up...'!

I said that last year as well - if it only a short program - most of it is taken up by the 'before the break' and 'coming up after the break'. I can just about understand the last week and coming up next week - but what do the producers think of their viewers?

A) we have a brain like a sieve and cannot remember what we just saw?
or
B) we have such a short attention span and need enticing to keep watching the after the break! (if anything the undermining makes me not want to watch - but i'm to addicted)

P.S. I'm not suggesting anyone is like this

Is it just me who thinks that this year might be the last Shipwrecked?  If they did do a 2010 Shipwrecked, to work, I think it would have to be 6 months again and one new arrival, but I doubt they would go back to that now.

I think the producers think they need to keep springing up surprises but Shipwrecked does not need to be like Big Brother and change year in year out.
