Someone in another topic I was reading said they were hoping for a bit of island romance this year.  So, which past shipwreckers have been an item? Who do you think were good together? Who do you think would make a good couple from the current series? The ones I know of were: 2006: Ritchie [Tiger] & Charlie [Tiger] 2007: Ben Lunt [Tiger] & Lianne [Tiger] Stevie [Shark] & Amy [Shark] Stuart [Shark] & Naomi [Shark] 2008: Danny [Shark] & Lara [Shark] 2009:  |

There was also Stuart and Lianne for a while in '07. Right at the beginning though.

aw they were my fave shipwrecked romance hehe.
we didnt get to see much of danny and laras "romance" did we?!!!
hmmm tis a bit hard to tell at the mo but um.... maybe some of the new arrivals mite have wee thingg with a few of the islanders. who knooows. only time will tell.
oh and didn't ricky and susan have a thing last year???

Ben and Lianne split up a while ago now  And yer I think they did!! Remember all the tension at the reunion show between Carly and Susan. I hated that we never found out what happened between them, but it was something to do with Ricky. |

Yeh Naomi n Louis did end up together after the show i think. But it was so annoying how they never really showed Naomi n Stu spliting up, they were joined at the hip during alot of the show n then u never really saw them near each other, but they never showed us any kind of 'break up' clip.

Agree, at least when Stevie and Amy split, we saw it, we were not kept guessing. I remember people used to go on C4 forum and ask if Stuart and Naomi were still together or not, and nobody actually knew what part of the series they had actually split.  |

I wonder how many of these are genuine, i.e. when you get out of a reality show, you've got such greater male/female attention, is it genuinely possible to continue an onscreen romance? They always seem to fail!

I read somewhere that Louis had changed his orientation on myspace to "not sure" which would suggest that he and naomi had broken.. it might just have been a joke though...

If there is an island romance this year r we going to hear much about it, as last year they never really showed that much of danny and lara, wel no where near as much as previous years.

Maybe Danny and Lara were just very secretive about it, like they were only really together when the cameras weren't about. They've split aswell now though haven't they?
