It's amazing how much people can ruin a good thing for us.
We should consider ourselves lucky to have a shipwrecker's opinion and unseen news. People base their opinions too much on what we see. Blame the show, not them.

Mark has been great. He can be a bit of a nippy sweetie but I get the impression what you see is what you get with Mark and I love that about him. On this board the way he comes across, is exactly how he seems on the show, which imo is a good thing.
He has made me laugh so much both on here and on the show.
Its a shame certain posters think it is ok to deride him for having a sharp tounge but seem to think they are free to be as insulting to and about him as they like.

Awwww Mark really sad that you've decided to leave us, but i completely understand why you're doing it. It's such a shame that the minority spoils things for the rest of us. Strange how some people didn't like Mark comming on here and being honest/blunt, yet thought they were completely within their rights to start bad mouthing and being rude to him. Yes, Mark could be a bit of a nippy sweetie at times, but that didn't give people the right to start attacking him by making nasty comments.

Mark i thought you were so funny, you had me laughing nearly every episode Smiley What i liked about you was that on here you came across exactly how you were on the show. Thats a good thing IMO, shows you haven't changed. I like your honesty, it's better than being fake and saying you loved everyone on both Islands.

Anyway, take care and good luck in whatever you decide to do in the future. xxxxx

unfortunately there's always some people that take things too far - it does really seem that certain members of this forum are just here to bash Mark.
You do have to appreciate though, if you put yourself in the public domain of a tv show that some will love you and some will hate you.
Will be a pity to see you leave the forum, as the only reason I joined was because it had cast members contributing. But if you're not enjoying it, I can understand why you want to leave.

I'll say thanks to Mark, as its been nice for you to share your experiences with us and give us an inside view so that you very much! I've probably said some things you don't agree with but it wasn't personal to you or any other islanders, it was just my opinion.

At the end of the day, anybody can be whoever they want over the internet and you can never be sure of exactly who they are until you meet them. So I think all the bitchiness from both sides is slightly pathetic and over the top.

But thanks for your input Mark, you will be missed. You added humour to the show ^^.
