I have to say, it was nice to see some genuine real emotion on the island today (episode 9), poor Maz following the stealing of Greg onto the other island, if I were there I'd have offered her a big hug, a cuppa and a shoulder to cry on - prior to then trying to chat her up Tongue

I thought her crying seemed a bit over dramatic to be honest. its not like she's never gonna see him ever again, its only 4 days till the next beach party. but i understand that she's been spending all her time wiv him, and so not seeing him everyday will be a bit of a shock.

But on a remote island you must bond fairly strongly with people, I can kind of understand how she must feel losing her temporary 'soul mate'!.

When you're in that microcosm, the only thing you know is what's there... the place, the people (cast&crew). Emotions run high and people place a lot of precedent on even minor things (albeit greg being taken to tigers wasnt a minor thing). It's strange, but the rest of the world becomes a bit of an abstract concept.

If you thought that was over dramatic then wait until some of the later shows, haha - there's much worse. What Kevin wrote was right, it might seem minor now watching it back but at the time it was our entire life's and you build very strong bonds with people in short spaces of time.

I felt really sorry for Maz. I can appreciate that everyone who took part on Shipwrecked must have built up very strong bonds with each other. And while it might seem over dramatic now, it must have been very difficult for her at the time. To lose your best friend on the Island must have been really upsetting, if i were Maz i think i'd probably have reacted in the way. If you're in an enclosed enviroment like they were it's only natural that emotions will be heightened in situaions like these.

Even i felt sorry for Maz i guess it was exceptionally hard for her as Greg was the person she was closest to i'm sure the sharks would've looked after her though and got her through it

aw now i wasnt much of a shark fan until then but danny stealing gregs from them made me prefer sharks a lot more in that episode and i think im supporting the sharks now all the way because the tigers just seem really boring now (except liam and sonny) i love them too.

but yeah. i felt really sorry for maz but i was soo happy adam choose sharks and greg went back with him but why didnt the sharks go and discuss it with him? like what the tigers did with danny? unless that did happen out on the islands and we just didnt see it....

I dont think the tigers/sharks should get a say on who the new arrival takes over. I mean. it should really be their decision and their decision only.
